We do this to guarantee that each bespoke client receives no less than a masterpiece, brought to life by the spirit of collaboration.
The experience of our premium bespoke service begins with a meeting between us and our client. We get to know them and discuss their preferences, their needs, their lifestyles, and every other detail we can get that we can apply to how their perfect pair should be.
As much as possible, we want each bespoke pair to suit the client and serve them like a second skin. The initial meeting with the client is where we discover the things we’ll need to take into account in order to do just that.
The next step would be to take the client’s measurements. A series of specific measurements are necessary for the creation of bespoke shoes.
The measurements are then taken to the workshop, where our master shoemakers use them to craft a shoe last — the foundation of every shoe. Crafting a bespoke last for the client ensures that they will be receiving a pair that is truly one of a kind.
A client’s bespoke last will be well taken care of and stored in the workshop, to be pulled out and used again when the client comes back for their next pair.
We invite the client back to hold their first fitting. A fitting shoe is crafted using the client’s bespoke last. We have the client try the fitting shoe on, ask them about the design, and get their feedback. We also inspect the fit of the shoe ourselves, taking careful note of how the shoe and leather react to being worn.
After a fitting, the fitting shoes are sent back to the workshop along with the notes and instructions taken from the fitting. The bespoke last is adjusted accordingly, and the fitting shoes are reworked to reflect these changes. We then invite the client for another fitting.
The minimum number of fittings we hold are usually 2; however, we promise to hold as many fitting sessions and revisions as necessary until the client is fully satisfied with the fit and design of their pair.
Once the client is happy with all the aspects of their pair based on their fittings, only then do we begin crafting the final pair. The final bespoke pair of shoes is a sum total of our experiences with the client, both their insights, as well as ours, their requests, and our expertise. We do our best to capture our client’s vision and turn it into reality with our hands and tools.
We want our clients to feel that the shoes are wholly theirs, and we make sure to deliver nothing short of the best of our capabilities.
