Sapatero Manila
Manila Sapatero Inc. (“Sapatero”) was born of a passion for shoes and of the craftsmanship and artistry involved in the manufacturing of the same. Sapatero began as a passion project among friends that shared a common goal of rebuilding the Philippine handcrafted industry, revitalize its heritage and pass it on to the next generation.
An industry that is built on craftsmanship alone cannot survive without people who appreciate, support, and eventually buy the product. We realized that while the skills needed to make qood quality handmade shoes existed; the market necessary for the industry to thrive was not. So we set out to create one.
